You've already experienced the Harver Assessment, once through the Skills Assessment Readiness Simulation during recruitment, and once for real during self-registration. This resource is a refresher, here for whenever the platform prompts you to retake it.
The Harver Assessment is not a pass or fail test. Think of it as a matching process. Your results place you into a tier, and that tier determines which client opportunities become visible to you inside the Arise platform.
The assessment looks at your communication ability, comprehension, professionalism, and how well you follow security standards. These are the same qualities that matter once you're actually servicing a client, so the assessment reflects real conditions, not abstract test taking.
Your results are valid for six months. When that window closes, you'll be prompted to retake the assessment the next time you log into the Arise platform. There's no advance notice beyond that pop-up, so this resource exists to make sure it doesn't catch you off guard.
When that moment comes, treat it the way you were coached to the first time. Find a quiet space, clear any distractions, and give yourself uninterrupted time before you begin. Portions of the assessment are timed, and pacing, not difficulty, is what trips most people up.
This version of the assessment moves differently than what agents may have heard about in the past. It's more challenging, and it rewards a slower, more deliberate pace, not speed. Rushing through sections is one of the most common reasons agents end up in the 90 day retake pause, so treat the time you're given as something to use fully, not race through.
Here's what's important to understand plainly. If your results after a retake don't align with what's currently available, there's a 90 day waiting period before you're able to retake the assessment again. During that window, you won't have visibility into new client opportunities, which can mean sitting idle without a way to move forward.
There is something within your control that can help guard against this. During the assessment, you'll complete an availability checklist, listing the hours or intervals you could realistically be available for. Our best advice is to mark yourself available for as much as you honestly can. Once you have real client visibility and you're ready to choose actual intervals, that's when you narrow things down to what fits your life. Going into the assessment with broad availability gives you the best chance of a strong match the first time.
If you'd like to prepare using the same Skills Assessment Readiness Simulation you used earlier in the process, you can request access again. Reach out to your Partner Success Manager (PSM) in writing to ask, and they'll grant you access to run through it before your retake.
